The year 1997 was a big one for me both personally and socially. I was deeply involved in music, writing, and the arts, and my personal life was winding up in a crescendo of self-discovery and debauchery. That was twenty years ago and I am writing a little bit about each album on their release dates.

Today, we look at OK Computer, the landmark third album of Radiohead…

Radiohead -
 OK Computer

OK Computer is a masterwork. Every song is fantastic. My three favorites, and it is difficult to pick, would be Paranoid Android, Subterranean Homesick Alien, and Karma Police. I watched the music video for Paranoid Android as much as I could (back when MTV played videos still). Exit Music (For a Film) cuts right into the heart of me, and then the guitar of Let Down stitches me back up. This is easily the best album in a year of amazing albums.
